Osteopathy for Babies

Many parents can find booking their baby or child in for an appointment to be daunting no matter what Practitioner or Osteopath it may be with, however booking your child in with an Osteopath does not have to be stressful.

There are clinical processes and requirements that all Osteopaths must follow, which include; a physical assessment, thorough health history (includes obstetric and birth history for babies), a discussion on the risks/benefits of treatment and a discussion around the tailored treatment plan.

You will be provided valuable take home advice and methods that you can apply for your baby or child yourself.

“I recently visited Caley in regards to treating my 3 month old Daughter for Torticollis. Caley was so calm and welcoming. I explained my daughter's symptoms and also that she was going through a phase of stranger anxiety. Caley fully acknowledged this and let me hold her to start with and showed me some exercises to do whilst she was on my lap…

We did this until my daughter was comfortable enough to be in Caley’s capable hands. By the end of the treatment she was asleep in Caleys arms! Within a week her Torticollis was noticeably reduced and her ability to be in tummy time improved drastically too!

Don't hesitate to book with Caley! She is absolutely amazing”
